Meet the Team

Anant Deshwal
Assistant Professor of Biology, Bradley University, Secretariat member, and Director of Community Program - Ethno-ornithology World Atlas (EWA). I am a quantitative field ecologist and conservation biologist. I focus on how anthropogenic disturbances affect interspecific interactions. My lab focuses on understanding how urbanization, agriculture, and climate change affect plant-insect-bird interactions and their impact on ecosystem functioning.
Traditional Ecological Knowledge and its importance in conservation. I received my Ph.D. from the University of Arkansas and My Postdoc from the University of Tennessee.

We Integrate With Your Ecosystem
We work as a team. For us the principles of Diversity, Equality and Inclusion are very important.
This Lab celebrates Indigenous or Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) and collaborates with the University of Oxford, Ethno-ornithology World Atlas on conserving TEK/ IEK/ LEK.
